I feel like a Grinch when... click the link there are so many great holiday ideas..some of course you may have to tweek to be less holiday depending on how your school system/principle feels about holidays in school but they are so cute!
Then I had the kids write similes comparing the Grinch and his heart to different things using the prompt, “The Grinch was as __________ as _________. His heart was as _________ as _________.” They had to choose adjectives from our brainstorm charts and make up their own similes. They LOVED this activity!!
Kindergarten: Holiday Activities: this is a good class activity. It would help remind students of how to be nice and get everyone involved. Maybe a good activity to do when you experience bad behavior to get them back on the right track.
