I have always loved old quilts, I could snuggle under one all day and be perfectly content..

I love the combination of so many techniques in this piece! Bias tape pinwheels, Suffolk puffs, embroidery, crochet, applique and the giant flower made from twisted strips of fabric! Repeating the same shaped flowers in different techniques and similar colours brings the whole piece together instead of making it look scrappy.

Edge trim out of Moda's Park Avenue....matches my first quilt (still in progress)
