This is the kitchen of Louis Armstrong's home in Corona, Queens. It's not far from Citi Field. The house, which now is a museum, is the only home that Armstrong ever owned. One story is that while he was on tour his wife, Lucille, had the front redone. Armstrong was concerned his neighbors would think he was showing off, so he went door to door offering to have the same job done to their homes.
