We have featured a number of DIY and homemade alarm clocks here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is the creation of Mike Krumpus from Nootropic Design, the Defusable Alarm Clock. As you can see from the photo and video below, the Defusable Alarm Clock is designed to look like a bomb, and it is a fully functional alarm clock, the only way to shut it up when it goes off is to correctly diffuse it.

Defusable Alarm Clock Home | Clock The Defusable Clock is a fully-functional alarm clock that also lets you practice defusing explosive devices just like you see in the movies. Designed and built by Mike Krumpus from Nootropic Design, when the countdown for the alarm starts you have to snip one of 3 wires to ‘diffuse’ the situation ! Wild !

This is probably a terrible idea, but don't let that stop you from buying it. This is a fully functional alarm clock, but when you press the snooze button you have exactly 10 seconds to pull the right wire to shut the alarm off. Sweet dreams.
