Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes these were a hit with the whole family. they are quick & easy to make. I make a double batch. we (a family of 4 with 2 big eating boys) eat one batch (and have leftovers) & I freeze one batch. I have tweaked the recipe a bit & this is how it looks for me: 2 lbs ground beef 1 lg onion 1 1/2 lg green peppers 1/2 c beef broth 5 T steak sauce 1 1/2 t. salt ground black pepper to taste I don't make the cheese sauce because we prefer to just add a slice of provolone cheese to the sandwich. the added oil to brown the beef isn't necessary.

Ours is loaded with lean ground turkey and combines the classic sweetness of ketchup with the smokiness of BBQ sauce to create mini Sloppy Joe Sliders that have a depth of flavor the whole family will love. You’ll add white cheddar for a creamy element and the perfect side dish of roasted steak fries. You’ll even make your own pickles to compliment the dish.

Hamburger Steaks (not to be confused with Salisbury Steaks). I seasoned them with seasoned salt, and I substituted the beef broth with gravy mix: in a small bowl, combine gravy mix with 1 cup of water and add to meat and onions.
