ds-product-meg-callahan-quilts- I got carried away by these quilts! The reverse side was shown on a very strikingly bold geometric quilt - something that you don't often see.

Too trendy for a quilt as far as I'm concerned, but very fun.

The Porter pattern was inspired by construction--Strip Quilting is a traditional technique in which large stripes are sewn together and then cut down, and re-arranged to create a new pattern--this method is used to speed up the process of patchwork quilting--known as a slow and tedious process. For Porter, strips were made, cut down, and then sewn back into strips.
