Golden Cheddar Biscuits 1/4 cup shortening 1 tsp sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 egg, beaten 1/3 cup milk 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated Cream shortening and sugar. Mix dry ingredients together; add to shortening and sugar mixture. Blend in remaining ingredients. Divide mixture equally into greased muffin cups. Bake at 400* for 20 minutes, or until golden.

Heavenly Chicken 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 8 oz pkg sliced Swiss cheese 2 10 3/4 oz cans cream of chicken soup 1-3/4 cup stuffing mix 1 cup butter, melted Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 13" x 9" baking pan. Arrange cheese slices over chicken, covering to edges. Spread soup over cheese, extending to edges. Sprinkle with stuffing mix. Drizzle melted butter over stuffing. Cover and bake at 300* for one hour. Uncover; continue baking for one additional hour. Serves
Heavenly Chicken. BY FAR THE BEST THING WE HAVE EVER MADE FROM PINTEREST! Probably loaded with calories, but this is comfort food at its finest. Like thanksgiving in one dish.

Pumpkin Truffles Pumpkin Cream Cheese Truffles Ingredients: ½ cup white chocolate chunks or chips 2 cups white chocolate almond bark (I think I used around 4-5 cubes) 1/3 cup gingersnap cookie crumbs, plus more for garnish 1/4 cup canned pumpkin purée 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs, plus more for garnish 1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar 1/2 teaspoon orange zest 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch of fine salt 2 ounces cream cheese, softened Directions: Melt the 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips in a double boiler over medium-low heat or in the microwave for about 1 minutes. Stir often to keep the chocolate from burning. Transfer to a large bowl. Add gingersnap crumbs, pumpkin, graham cracker crumbs, sugar, zest, cinnamon, salt and cream cheese and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Transfer to a shallow bowl, cover and chill until just solid enough to roll into balls, about 2 hours. Line a large sheet tray with parchment paper. Melt remaining 2 cups white chocolate almond bark and transfer to a small, deep bowl. Roll 1 heaping teaspoon of the pumpkin mixture into a ball in your hands, then drop into the chocolate. Working quickly, gently spoon chocolate over to coat. Using a small spoon or fork, lift the truffle out of the chocolate, shake off excess and transfer to prepared sheet tray. Dollop a bit of extra chocolate on any parts that remain exposed, then sprinkle a few gingersnap or graham cracker crumbs over the top, if you like. Repeat process with remaining pumpkin mixture and chocolate, then chill truffles until chocolate is completely set, about 1 hour. adapted from Whole Foods

@SERVES 12 1 cup sugar 2 T. butter 1 cup milk 2 cup all-purpose flour 2 t. baking powder 2 t. cinnamon 1/4 t salt Mix all ingredients together and blend well. Pour into a greased 13"x9" baking pan, add topping. Topping: 2 cups brown sugar 2 T butter 1 1/4 cup water Combine ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour mixture over the cake batter and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
