IKEA kitchen Get the look: Modern country Classic Shaker-style kitchen cabinetry. Sleek dark grey quartz countertops. Country elements, such as an apron-front sink, used sparingly. Crisp white finishes mixed with warm greys. Modern accents like bold cabinetry hardware and industrial-style pendant lights.
A custom Mill Creek Mfg kitchen built with a heritage 1860's finish. Rustic hand-scraped solid walnut countertops, knotty alder cabinetry, and character reclaimed flooring give this kitchen authenticity. The hammered copper range hood, and bar top feature cast iron strapping. Cowhide panels and horseshoes featured on the bar make it shine and add that final touch.
Design Wide Walkways - "Paths throughout a kitchen should be at least 36 inches wide. Paths within the cooking zone should be 42 inches wide for a one-cook kitchen and 48 inches wide for a two-cook configuration. When planning, adjust kitchen islands and peninsulas accordingly." Grey with an undertone of green works perfectly with the green walls. Several greens can be put together without jarring the eye as long as care is taken with tonal differences. Notice the choice of white appliances!
This looks very much like a smaller version of our kitchen. I like the white and grey look with the wood floors. I would like the upper cabinets to extend all the way to the ceiling. With as much cooking and baking as we do, we really can't have too much storage space.
