    Falling Up By Shel Silverstein

"Some books are meant to be read just like this, alone, with the evening, a bowl of fruit ripening, waiting for the reader to grow hungry, but she won't, the book will devour her, and it will soon become morning."

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. Had this been a Hollywood fiction story, it would have strained credibility. But this is a true story of courage, sacrifice and redemption and is the best to come along in a long time. Its unlikely hero - Louis Zamperini - started life as a juvenile delinquent and matured to embody Christian forgiveness. For the full experience, the book beats the movie.
