Perfect Pot Roast

Perfect Pot Roast Recipe : Ree Drummond : Food Network - A master of hearty ranch food, Ree Drummond relies on this classic recipe to feed the cowboys and cowgirls in her life. She simmers a chuck roast in a red wine beef broth with carrots and onions until the meat is juicy and the vegetables tender.

Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork

Pioneer Woman's Dr. Pepper Spicy Pulled Pork. Made this in the crock pot (7.5 hours on low with a 4.4 lb roast) this weekend. I've made it in the oven, too, and this is much easier. It's great and makes 16 servings awesome for tacos and sandwiches. We freeze our leftovers with a little of the juice. Yummy (and spicy)!
