I absolutely loved this book. I had been wanting to rent the movie for awhile ,but decided that I should read the book first. As usual- the book was so much better than the movie!

Great book...hard to put down. Such a sad story and it's great because it's written by her, not by a professional. Easier to connect with her and her story.

Room, by Emma Donoghue, is a story told through the eyes of a 5 year old named Jack. His mother has been a captive in the same room for many years, but to Jack it is the only home he has ever known. I do not want to give away anymore of the story, but it is a worth while read. There are many tenderhearted moments. You can understand where this little boy's love for his "Room" comes from and at the same time commiserate with his mother as to why she hates it.

Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back - great read!

Moving from Addis Ababa to New York City and back again, Cutting for Stone is an unforgettable story of love and betrayal, medicine and ordinary miracles--and two brothers whose fates are forever intertwined.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Couldn't put it down. Interesting and unique way to combine a novel with photographs.

Amazing book. It's imperative you read this BEFORE Angels & Demons, even though it's the second in the character series.
