If you choose to use nail head, for heaven's sake, don't be tacky. Skip the nailhead-on-a-roll and do it the old fasioned way, one at a time. It isn't harder, it's just way slower, but guess what? You are already building a headboard, what is one more hour? Plus it won't accidentally get snagged during any, ahem, bedroom festivities.

I would leave this up all year of course but it does have a fall tone to it.

I don't know why I like this so much. The gray and dark fustian pillows with the midnight blue bed curtain and scraped gold walls just look so nice together.

Be honest...when you first looked at this picture what did you think? How feminine? How pretty? How restful?...bet you DIDN'T think "Ewww! They put the bed infront of a window!?" Looks great doesn't it? When wall space is limited, you CAN get away with placing a bed in front of a window ...if you do it right! :)
