We used to have garden paths like this, but in Arizona, it's almost impossible to maintain, unless you're willing to shade and water 3 times in the summer (May-Oct).... so we ripped it out and went to native plants, which still flower all year long... our neighbors tell us we have the best front yard.... and back yard in the neighborhood.... took us years to perfect, tho!
