Use glow in the dark paint to paint the inside of these mason jars and then charge them with a light bulb and watch them glow in the dark! :) for instant satisfaction cut the top off of a glow stick and let the liquid explode all over the inside of the mason jar, unfortunately this way the mason jar will only glow for 1-3 hours.

This is great for a summer night a nut shell you get glass jars (i.e. mason jars) of varying sizes, get glow in the dark paint and dot the inside of the glass (using 2 colors or more will give you a beautiful glow)... let it dry, sit in the sunlight or other light and let it glow all night...... will definitely look at Home Depot for the paint too...

A tutorial on how to make the magical glowing jars to decorate your home. (in Hungarian and English) Mason jar, water, glowing paint, and a paint brush. Wash your mason jar out, really well. Mix your glowing paint up. Put tiny dots on the inside of the jar, the more dots, the better. Sit the jar under a lamp to allow it to charge. Put it in a dark room and let it glow.
