Make Your Own Deodorizing Carpet Powder

To remove pet urine smells or other odors from carpet, rub vinegar into area and let sit for 10-15mins. Pour water onto area and scrub or use carpet shampooer with water. Sprinkle baking soda + cinnamon (or other carpet powder) onto area. Let sit 15-20 minutes. Leaves home smelling like cinnamon (or whatever smell is in carpet powder)!

Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and one cup vinegar, then a second time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This stuff..... I have tried so many things to get the urine smell out of my carpet due to working long hours and have 2 small dogs who have small bladders and can never pee on the pee pads. I tried this yesterdqy on the worst smelling room in my house. I went in this morning to find a pleasant smell in that room; NO URINE SMELL. if it messes up my vaccum, thats fine.
