Nirvana, Lithium. The Nirvana and Smart Sounds Studio is an interesting story. The band liked the sound of Killdozer's music produced there and worked with Butch Vig on the demo for "Nevermind", however the tracks recorded (Lithium was one of those) were used to get a deal that allowed Nirvana to record Nevermind in a studio in California. A great band that got their start in Madison, WI.
