HAIKU STAIRS Often called the “Stairway to Heaven”, the official name is Haiku Stairs. It’s a steel staircase made up of 4000 steps that ascends a ridge up from the Valley of Haiku . The steps were built so the military could access a radio station antennae 2000ft up on the mountain during World War II.

Stairways to Heaven. Haiku Stairs 4,000 ties of a steel stair case. It isn't the most difficult hike but the amazing views and sheer drop offs make it the most memorable.
