Creamy Cranberry Salad Recipe This was a hit at Thanksgiving. My only tweaks - I upped the sugar to one cup and deleted the nuts (the majority of my family does not like nuts in creamy salads). Next time I want to let the cranberries macerate in the sugar for 24 hours and see if we like it better or not.
Creamy Cranberry Apple Salad Recipe •1 package (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed •3 cups miniature marshmallows •1 cup sugar •2 medium apples, diced •1/2 cup halved seedless red grapes •1/2 cup chopped walnuts •1/4 teaspoon salt •1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
GRAPE SALAD •1 8oz package cream cheese, softened •1 cup sour cream •2 teaspoons vanilla extract •2 pounds seedless red grapes •2 pounds seedless green grapes •3 tablespoons brown sugar •3 tablespoons chopped pecans Directions •In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, and vanilla until blended. Add grapes and toss to coat. •Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans just before serving. Yield: 21-24 servings.
