For the fold-down workbench - instead of fold-in hinged legs, could just screw pipes into flanges. Keep the pipes in between studs next to folded-down workbench. not sure how you keep the thing from wanting to flip too far up - maybe a chain back to the stud?

Great idea for the houseboat just off the bar. Rather than having a wide top that takes up additional space mount this to the cabinet and use it when you need it or fold down when you don't.
