Wine Cork Fire-Starters Natural corks from wine bottles are a great natural way to start a fire in the fireplace or bbq. Fill a jar with natural corks and pour rubbing alcohol to the top of the jar. Let the corks soak up the alcohol and remove one cork when you need to start a fire; light and it will start a slow, even burn. *Use only natural cork and not plastic ones to make these firestarters!
