The Notebook Quote | favorite romantic movie the notebook i could ve said love jones ...
The Notebook "It looks great," Rachel McAdams said of the scene in this 2004 film in which she (as Allie) and Ryan Gosling (as Noah) finally come together. "We did a lot of takes in the pelting rain. Nick [Cassavetes, the director] said, 'Try to keep your eyes open when you say, You wrote me?' It was actually hurting...But it was totally worth it." The Five People You Meet in Heaven Beautiful 2004 TV Movie.. ------On his 83rd birthday, Eddie (Voight), a war vet and a maintenance worker at the Ruby Pier amusement park, dies while trying to save a girl who is sitting under a falling ride. When he awakens in the afterlife, he encounters five people with ties to his corporeal existence who help him understand the meaning of his life.

Mitch Albom ~ The Five People you Meet in Heaven ... GREAT book (horrible movie)
Be prepared to CRY! I thought this was a very good book, and when the movie came out, it was exactly as I pictured all the scenes would be...the colors, the images, the people...everything! Either Mitch Albom is a very good writer...or I should become a film maker!
Mitch Albom is not usually the kind of author I would read. I'm a big SF/fantasy reader. This book I picked up BECAUSE it had some aspects of fantasy I thought I might like... after all, the biggest selling fantasy/SF book in history is the Bible! The story revolves around a man who has led a very mundane life, under-achieving and under-appreciated. He has worked in a fairground. Partially the book describes his life on earth, but from the interesting perspective of Heaven. He has died and he has been transported to Heaven. The main concept of the book is to discover what Heaven might be like. Here, the hero meets five people, each of whom have had an impact on his life. It is when he talks with them that we are taken back to his life on earth. As you'd expect, this is a sentimental book. I've read two of Albom's books now (I'm also going to pin a review of the other shortly) and he is definitely a sentimentalist! Again, not the sort of thing I would normally read. However, in this book I found Albom's depiction of Heaven interesting - and much preferable to the depiction usually assigned to this mythical place. If Heaven were as Mitch Albom imagines it, I'd be on my way there (but then we all would, so what does being religious matter?). The book is fascinating whilst, as I've already said, mundane. There is nothing special about the protagonist yet the way story is constructed draws us into his life and emotions. Don't expect any deep religious meaning here, and if you're a Christian I'm sure you're idea of Heaven is very different to Albom's; but, if you enjoy a good read, and don't necessarily need a lot of action, try it.
Amazing book, love Mitch Albom

"So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day." -The Notebook. One of my all time favorite movies!
The Notebook - one of the best movie kisses.
The Notebook one of my favorite romantic movies
Well, that's what we do. We fight. You tell me when I'm being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you're being a pain in the ass. Which you are 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. They have like a two second rebound rate and you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing. So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. And we're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that, because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day

"I love this expression when Darcy is looking at Elizabeth. She doesn't know quite yet how much she means to him, but he's working up the courage to tell her. Then she rejets him. Oh, how every girl's heart breaks for him. But, he keeps holding on. Not obsessively and not clingy, either. He even tells her he'll leave with one word from her. But he knew he'd love her forever, no matter what. That's the kind of man we all dream of."--all dream, few find
