mini raised beds, perfect for herbs to keep them from going crazy wild

Do this in front yard. Potager - Kitchen garden at Bolen residence. LOVE the use of the large pots to control the amount of water or nutrients herbs need as opposed to the vegetables! "This raised-bed kitchen garden was absolutely stunning and made great use of a narrow space that was formerly used as a dog enclosure. The space was designed by John Fluitt, an Oklahoma landscape designer."

sweet pea trellis, I hadn't thought of this before but I could plant sweet peas at the base of my apple tree trellis...hmmm

gravel pathways between raised gaden beds with water fountain, bird bath feature centered at the end. fruit trees lining the perimeters. Great plan for new house.

A very clever and efficient pea trellis.  I wish I had saved an extra bike wheel from all my moving purging.
