Irish beef stew -- no need for all the work: put the herbs & spices in the liquid and marinate the beef overnight, throw the veggies in the crockpot, put the meat and liquid and everything on top of the veggies, cook all day. Yum.

Beef Tips & Gravy with Mashed Potatoes - I used 1 1/2 lb of stew meat and followed the recipe as written using my dutch oven. Meat was tender in 2 hours. It was really good served over mashed potatoes. I rate this a 5!
