Easy Chicken Fried Rice is cheaper than take out, and much healthier too! in a little oil heat 1/2 cup frozen veggies, 2 chopped green onions, 1 minced garlic, 1 whisked egg. cook, then add 2 cups leftover rice. leftover chicken (or shrimp on hand) and 2 T soy sauce.
Better than Takeout Chicken Fried Rice - it was good, not exceptional. Part of my problem was the rice I used was too fluffy and not right for this dish. Additionally, it needed another seasoning but I'm not sure what as I've never made take-out Chinese or any other oriental food before.
