Bells on the door reminds me of my childhood...we always had bells hanging on the back door. A symbol of luck? A way for the dog to let us know when time to go out? Either way, a cool idea...

I use these strings of bells to hang on my back doors for security and notification of them being opened. I usually buy mine at Pier One Imports.

.Get some bells and fake greens from the dollar store. Paint the bells and add jute twine to bells and hang from greens. If you have a fake Christmas tree that's seen it's last days. DON"T through it out. Put it apart and use the greens around the house. Stuff them into water cans, wood boxes, blue ball jars, across the fire place mantel. Hang them from vintage window frames...etc. FeedSackLady
