A Nifty Little Taping Trick Do you ever have something you need to tape over before you paint, but because of it's odd shape you're not sure how to go about it accurately? Enter: A Nifty Little Taping Trick. Apply tape + outline edge with fingernail + cut with razor = a clean, accurate tape job.

My favorite primer to use is Zinnser. I've had great results with it, and it really helps prevent dark wood stain from peeking through white paint. A MUST if you have dark old wood like me. The adhesion is also great. It will give you adhesion fairly comparable to sanding in most instances.
