An installation of these prints from all the states in which they've lived so far would be a neat keepsake for my sister and her Marine Corps hubby. Of course I'm partial to this PA print!

It's a good thing public education is improving. I only ever learned to read and write.

ElkhornSilverKingwriteup...turn off of Hwy 22 about 6 miles west of Mill City near Mehama. Just a few miles up the road you can see a very old schoolhouse that dates probably from the 1900s. Today it and the old gymnasium are on gated off private land, but they are easy to see from the highway.

This is how I saw my empty classroom my first year of teaching. I turned around, went home, and came back the next day with help!

Pennsylvania. You stretch across geographics and reach across demographics. You have mountains and fields, big cities and small towns. You’re an eastern state with a western spirit and a work ethic like no other.

Pennsylvania..my birthplace lots of memories

True story. In the 1800s a woman & her small son were riding a train. She was leaving her husband. She was on her way to her sisters house. The train made a stop in a small town in Iowa(?). The woman & her son got off, but never got back on. They never made it to their destination. And were never seen again. What happened to them? I've always wanted to write a story about this..... sls
