I LOVE THIS! Attention Getters! A fun way to get students attention especially during transitions

Do this with students, take pics, print several of each letter, and have students use to spell words during Daily 5 Word Work!

I used this when I had jury duty... my students thought I was in JAIL! Their responses were hilarious! This is such a great FREEBIE!

Create a "fakebook" page for a character...my students have done this, but I never could find a good template! They just created it on a piece of posterboard, but this would be great to give them a better idea of the layout.

Need ideas for indoor recess? You need a "Recess in a Jar" to keep students busy all winter long!

I just might play this next time someone is having a bad day in my class. At least the high school students might get a kick out of it.

Fun, contemporary back-to-school lesson! Have your students draw "selfies" and describe their summer via text message prompts. Makes for a great bulletin board display!!

Are you tired of trying to keep students busy during indoor recess? You need a "Recess in a Jar"! The jar is full of activities for inside when students can't go outside. Students simply choose a card from the jar and have fun doing the activities. Activities can be done individually or with a group. The only supplies need may be paper or a soft ball.

I love this activity! My former students have created some beautiful poetry with this style.

Ideas for Indoor Recess on Rainy or Cold Days. A new look on an age old problem in the classroom.
