Perfect example of a symmetrical balance in design as the visual elements are arranged in such a way that horizontal symmetry is formed. Negative vs. positive contrast provides clear and bold emphasis for the main visual element to stand out.

Need to find a large replica of this Typographische Monatsblätter Cover from 1967 for my living room.

I like that this font looks like it has texture. It isn't too hard to read with just a few letters, but it probably wouldn't work with multiple lines of text.

one of the few illustrations i've seen that illustrates how your eye super-imposes flutes when it perceives 3-d and a light source even though the shading is pretty minimal in reality.
