This game is VERY simple but powerful for the kids because it helps them to make those connections that 5 pennies = 1 nickel, 2 nickels = 1 dime, etc...

A fun game to teach COIN VALUES. Simply roll the dice (once per turn) and take that number of pennies. As often as possible exchange 5 pennies for 1 nickel, 2 nickels for 1 dime, 2 dimes and 1 nickel for 1 qtr., and 4 qtrs. for the $1 bill. The first one to $1 wins the game. Perfect for some Kinders and most 1st graders.
