May 10th - The Pacific Coast Highway and Big Sur, California * The Pacific Coast Highway offers stunning ocean views along most of its twisting 1,000 mile route through California, but none are more breathtaking than those at Big Sur. In this still remote, lightly populated section of coast, cliffs plunge down 1200 feet from redwood forests to the sea.
Your guide to the Pacific Coast Highway...on my Bucket List to drive the Pacific Coast Hwy from beginning to end in a convertible & able to stop and see all of the beautiful sights along the way!!
This is seriously one of the most beautiful strips of highway you will ever see! All there is are cliffs and ocean. Absolutely stunning views! And if you ever decide to drive it from Monterey to Pismo Beach, well, let's just say...it's looooooong with *lots of curves. Yes! I am an official California hwy1 survivor! LOL! BC :o)
