Crochet bracelets with embroidered flowers - pattern available from Adknits here adknits.wordpress.... This pattern uses embroidered chain stitch and lazy daisy stitch (diagram provided) to create the flower decoration. Needle felting tools to create the center, but this can also be done with a french knot or other knotted stitch.
1. Cut out 10 scalloped circles from a book (or a newspaper, scrapbook paper, magazine...) 2. Gather all the circles and use a 1/16" punch to make a hole in the center. 3. Attach a brad (the color doesn't matter because you won't be seeing it in the end result) 4. Layer by layer, scrunch up each circle 5. Now just fluff out the flower and voila!
Flower Materials Take a page from the great outdoors with this pretty flower-theme paper garland. Accordion-fold an aged book page. Fold in half and trim the ends into a curve. Repeat with a second page. Using string, tie the two folded pages together at the center, and glue the ends to form a circle.
