    Ok so this is Martha Stewart's roasted cabbage recipe. My dad has a better one. GRILLED LETTUCE Simply either buy olive oil with spices soaking in it or make your own with your favorite spices (should sit soaking at least 3 days before use). Simply coat a whole head of lettuce (he uses romaine, but your favorite kind would work too) in the oil and herb mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Then grill the heads of lettuce until they begin to wilt. Serve warm along side steak or pork. IT'S UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!

    Roasted cabbage wedges adapted from Martha Stewart 1 Medium head green cabbage 1 tablespoons plus 2 more Extra virgin olive oil NON-IODIZED SALT and ground pepper to taste Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush a rimmed baking sheet with 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil. Place 1 medium head green cabbage, cut into 1-inch-thick rounds, in a single layer on sheet and brush with 2 tablespoons oil. Season with NON-IODIZED SALT and ground pepper. Roast until cabbage is tender 40 to 45 minutes.
