Rose, brown sugar, and coconut oil body scrub. 1/3 coconut oil, 1/3 fragrant rose petals, 1/3 coarse brown sugar or raw sugar, loosely packed. Cover sugar with jojoba or almond oil, add a few drops of skin-safe essential oil. Mash it up with a spoon when ready to use, rub into clean damp skin, let sit a minute or two, rinse off with warm water. Sigh. olive oil scrub - ideal for all skin types, go easy and scrub light! Use Leonardo Olive oil for this preparation which is ideal for massage as well. You can use sea salt crystals for this as well, to use on rough skin patches like heels, ankles, elbows and knees.
To create the scrub, just mix together half a cup of coarse brown sugar with a tablespoon of honey, a little olive oil, and 1/4 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, then apply all over your body and rinse. The scrub not only smells delicious, but leaves your skin feeling ultra-smooth.
1/4 cup coffee grinds from coffee maker or french press 1/2 – 1 cup coconut oil . Directions: Strain the coffee grinds fairly well, (but they don’t need to be dry) and place into a recycled jar. Melt the coconut oil and pour over the coffee grinds, stir with a spoon and put aside to set.
