The North American 1972 tour ran from 3 June to 26 July, starting in Vancouver and ending in New York City after grossing the largest amount of money for a rock tour at that point in history
The group followed up the Canada-US tour with a trip through Australia and New Zealand from 14-27 February 1973, with stops in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney
