Chocolate Eclair Cake by Debbie Mortensen 1 cup water 1/2 cup butter 1 cup flour 4 large eggs 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 large box (5.1 ounces) vanilla instant pudding 3 cup milk 1 8 oz. container cool whip (just enough for a thin layer. I don't use the whole container) or one batch of homemade whipped cream chocolate syrup or homemade chocolate sauce
Triple chocolate trifle. I don’t have the cake recipe, but here’s what you do. 1. Accidentally mess up your cake on purpose by mistake 2. Whip up some chocolate pudding 3. Layer it all in a trifle dish with some cool whip and refrigerate.
My daughters had some friends over and I made these cute and colorful trifles for their dessert. I made each girl their own individual trifle in a clear plastic cup, but you could easily make a bigger one in a regular trifle bowl. They were a big hit, really yummy, and not quite as time consuming as the Rainbow Cupcakes I made last year.
