Once we have called, our next step is to watch. He has never broken a promise and He is promising to show us great and mighty things we do not know. God finds joy not only in our asking but also in our anticipation that follows. Lets not rob Him of them!
"and if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us? and if our God is with us, then what could stand against?"
Luke 12:15 "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions." I Timothy 6:6 "But godliness with contentment is great gain." Psalm 62:10b "...if riches increase, set not your heart upon them." :: Goal Setting for 2013
Absolutely true. Going to Mass on Sundays is actually the bare minimum. We should also receive Communion and Penance regularly, and develop an active prayer life. Because of how much it lays out the spiritual logic of Salvation in Christ through the Church, I can't recommend the daily Rosary enough. If surrendering your life to God seems daunting, then doing these things allows Him to take over itty bit by itty bit.
