water feature idea ("After stocking the tub with plants, wait 4-5 weeks before adding fish. Snails eat algae, fish wastes, and decaying vegetable matter. Fish help keep the water garden a healthy ecosystem. They trim excess foliage, and eat algae, mosquito larvae and other insects. Most aquarium fish are not hardy enough to survive a water garden. Gambezi (Gambusia affinis), also known as the mosquito fish, or guppies are good choices")

Beautiful container arrangement that will last all winter! (p.s. I love this website). LOVE!!!!

So much nicer than the plastic pots straight from the nursery! And easy too!

i like the way these are puzzled together. Think I will do this in my sunroom.

I may be pinning this water feature but I really don't like it - horrible shape, I'm thinking splinters here - they're just trying too hard to be gimmicky. The decking will go rotten and it will look out-of-date in the blink of an eye!

Raised beds, collecting rainwater as well. - perhaps tiered beds can have a French drain at the end that catches excess water run off from the rain. It would be a larger area to collect rain water and would only be extra If the other plants were all watered.

Love this water fountain photo. Like the use of a shorter pot. - Jewel box garden
