Handmade mimbre chair. Amalia by Eggpicnic, celebrates a Chilean material called mimbre, going back to the essential of working with traditional materials and techniques. The technique of hand weaving mimbre originated in Chimbarongo, a town located 160 km south of the Chilean capital. This project was conducted in conjunction with mimbre artisans Francisco Palma and Mario Rojas.
