What is there not to live about this place?! Definitely on my bucket list. Hexagons - Giant's Causeway, 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. Located in Northern Ireland, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
Giant's Causeway (Ireland) is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. Located in Northern Ireland, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. The tops of the columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four, five, seven or eight sides. Image by Thomas Mader.

The ancient gods of Egypt are often depicted as carrying ankh signs. We find Anqet, Ptah, Satet, Sobek, Tefnut, Osiris, Ra, Isis, Hathor, Anibus and many other gods often holding the ankh sign, along with a scepter, and in various tomb and temple reliefs, placing it in front of the king's face to symbolize the breath of eternal life.

This is not a temple of 'Amenhotep IV/Akhenaten' in Egypt (the style is obviously too modern), but a sand sculpture in Turkey.

The Meroe Pyramids. Near Meroe, Sudan, three royal cemeteries were constructed. South Cemetery features nine royal pyramids. Four of the pyramids belonged to Kings and five belonged to queens. One hundred and ninety-five other tombs complete the cemetery.
The Meroe Pyramids are located in the North-East of Sudan (Nubia, Kingdom of Kush). The first of the Meroe Pyramids were built about 800 years after the last Egyptian pyramids were completed. Many were decapitated by treasure hunters following Ferlini's reports of finding his hoard.

Nautilus House, Mexico - This unique, shell-shaped house was built in 2006 by Mexican architect Javier Senosiain of Arquitectura Organica. Designed to emphasize a harmony with nature, this mind-blowing building uses organic forms to create a warm and original space. Making use of many different materials, this house has a feeling all its own. A blend of art and modern architecture, the house even features an indoor garden.
