Amazing! From Miles Davis to Kraftwerk, photographer Martin Klimas creates explosive sound paintings b playing music at high volume.

Photographer Martin Klimas took photos of paint sputtering upwards from a scrim, just above speakers blasting Miles Davis, Kraftwerk and Steve Reich, boom crash splash.

German photographer Martin Klimas shoots with sound vibrations from music. "The vibrations of the speaker shoot the paint into the air creating beautiful patterns and sculptural forms, and Klimas snaps them with his camera while in flight." This is to Miles Davis – “Pharaoh’s Dance”

What music looks like -- Kalliopi Monoyios features the sonic sculptures of Martin Klimas, perhaps the closest we can come to feeling synesthesia. Klimas creates works of complex and rich colour by placing paint on a surface stretched over speakers and amping the volume, and visually capturing the intricate results. Pictured here is Miles’ Davis’ Pharaoh’s Dance. Follow the link to see more – fans of Massive Attack and Pink Floyd won’t be disappointed.

Painting With Sound by German photographer Martin Klimas. - “Like a 3-D take on Jackson Pollock, the latest work by the artist Martin Klimas begins with splatters of paint in fuchsia, teal and lime green, positioned on a scrim over the diaphragm of a speaker. Then the volume is turned up..."

I like this painting because it has a lot of colors splashing. I also noticed that the painter is using complementary colors. The painter has purple, blue, yellow, orange, green and red. I also like the black background it matches with the colors. By Ahmed Al-shafi.
