This is a beautiful and very versatile white Haviland Limoges platter with gold trim, in the “Silver Anniversary” Pattern, Schleiger No. 19. The plate measures about 9 ½” in diameter and marked with underglaze Haviland France in green (circa 1894-1931) and overglaze Haviland & Co Limoges in red (circa 1876-1878, 1889-1931). The Haviland China Company was organized in 1840 in Limoges, France, by David Haviland, a New York china importer. This lovely daisy formed plate is in very good antique condition, slightest wear to the gold. The usual bubbles and marks are present in the porcelain, having occurred during manufacture, which is mentioned for accuracy only. Your questions are welcomed and many thanks for looking!
