Such a strong woman; I want to give her a hug!
You go girl!
extremely brave young girl. wow.
This is from the slut walk. One of the arguments women are raped is because they ask for is by wearing quote "slutty" clothes: short skirts, low-cut tops etc. Interesting, robbery victims are not accused of provoking/causing the the thiefs to steal. Rapists don't discriminate. They do not rape because of clothing, they rape because THEY are rapists. Report rates for sexual assault range from 10-20% of acts committed. Therefore instead of teaching women don't get raped, teach men not to rape.
This is from the Slut Walk. One of the arguments is that girls ask for rape because they wear "slutty" clothes, short skirts, tight, low-cut tops. which brings up an incredibly important message, rape is rape. no one is ever "asking for it". A woman has the right to dress how ever they want - it is society that identifies 'asking for it’, and that way of thinking is foolish. I guess its easier to blame the woman than for the man to take responsibility for his lack of self discipline.

Courage is contagious! When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened! ~Billy Graham In image: "Tank Man" during Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 in China. He later featured in "Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century" n 1998. #Courage #Tankman #TiananmenSquare
The Tiananmen Square Tank Man - This man was braver in that one moment than I will ever be in all my moments combined. And I don't even know who he was. A continuing inspiration for me when my courage flags. #TankMan #DinnerCompanion
The iconic photo of Tank Man, the unknown rebel who stood in front of a column of Chinese tanks in an act of defiance following the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. I remember watching this live on TV, an incredible thing in and of itself, considering the control China held over their media...

NOT MUCH TO SAY BUT....WHAT A DOG
Border Collies, Roosevelt, Pet, Wheels, Front Legs, Puppys, Dogs Stories, Dogs Photo, Disabilities Border
Disabled Border Collie gets wheels, goes hiking. “The only difference between Roosevelt and other dogs is that instead of a collar I snap on his wheels to take him out,” she said. “People think he should have been put down because they think he’s suffering, but he wakes up happy every day. If you had a child with a disability you’d try to enrich them, give them opportunities. So why not do the same with a dog?” /Damn right!!!!! DK
When Stephanie Fox went to see a puppy almost three years ago at New England Border Collie Rescue, she knew the breed didn’t always make the best pet. As an experienced owner of other border collies, she was well aware of their need for constant work and attention. So how much more of a challenge would it be if she adopted one with deformed front legs?
Wow~ \what a great dog story!
A pair of deformed front legs left Roosevelt, a border collie in Maine, unable to do what border collies love most: run. But his new owners fitted him with a pair of all-terrain wheels, and now Roosevelt’s rolling right along. TJ and I would SO adopt a wheelchair puppy!

Disabled activists protested earlier this month in LaPaz, Bolivia, demanding government support.
A physically disabled woman in her wheelchair clashes with riot police in the center of La Paz, Bolivia, on February 23, 2012. Hundreds of physically disabled people arrived in La Paz after completing a protest march of some 1,600 km (994 mi) over a hundred days to demand that Bolivia's government offer support in the form of 3000 bolivianos ($434) payment to each physically disabled Bolivian, according to local media. That's it, The Police, give that disabled lady in the wheelchair a good fucking kicking. Well done.
