This site is in Spanish, but I like this family/play room. But maybe not with a white couch.

A sophisticated playroom. Wouldn't it be great to magically have your playroom this clean each night. Tip: sometimes let the kid's "mess" stay for a couple of days, because kids don't equate their creative play with ending each day.

I love the idea of the chalk board wall with rolling paper. Maybe use chalkboard paint in old frames (painted in fun colors) and put in hallway. It wouldn't take up space and would give the kids another space to use.

I LOVE this little dress-up area! I am already a big fan of creating "zones" in kids rooms for different activities, and I can't wait to try out this one!

Use free floating shelves and mount the TV. Add a few baskets for hidden storage of games, DVDs, board games, extra pillows, and floor visions.. Free floating shelves saves space for music area/corner.

What a fun craft area. I would love to do something like this in the playroom. How cool is this? Love the bookshelf too. ♥

Let's face it. Gigantic tv's are here to stay. We recently traded up to a larger tv and placed it in our unused living. The space is much larger than the "family room" and provides way more seating for our family. I call the tv my husband's new wife! I love how this tv looks with the surround shelves and drawers. Practical.

Hiding tv over mantle - best I've found. This tv is recessed into wall. Not possible with brick. Could frame be built around tv on brick to hold frames flat ?
