Historic Cedarwood Wedding from Love is a Big Deal
He built a box, and she painted the last initial and their wedding date on it. They put in two unread love letters to each other about why they fell in love, a nice bottle of wine from the year they started dating, and nailed the lid on the box. They promised that if things ever get too hard and their love starts to fade, they will open the box and read the letters they wrote to each other, reminding them of how much their love means and to never give up. @Carley Burch

First Fight Box: Write love letters to each other and place into a box, along with a bottle of wine and two glasses. Nail it shut at the wedding. When you have your first fight, open it up, pour the wine, go to separate corners, read the love letter & remember what it's all about. (positive spin: same concept but for every anniversary; open it, enjoy and be in love, then reload for next year)
“Four years ago, I was just a guy who had a crush on a girl, who had a boyfriend. And I had to do the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to do, which was just to… wait…And, a lot of people told me I was crazy to wait this long for a date with a girl I work with but I think, even then I knew that… I was waiting for my wife.” - Jim Halpert Love Pam and Jim
