Ed Buckbee is the founder of Space Camp and Aviation Challenge, and he was also the first CEO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Buckbee has spent more than 40 years championing all things space. Since retiring from the USSRC in 1994, he has worked as a lecturer, writer, and advocate for space exploration. In 2005, he wrote "The Real Space Cowboys" with astronaut Wally Schirra. Buckbee was inducted into the Space Camp Hall of Fame in 2007.
