Chicken or Turkey wishbone ~ after drying it, pull on each side as shown. The person who has the largest piece is the winner.

Remember saving and drying the wishbone at Thanksgiving and then making a wish before breaking it? The one who got the larger piece would get their wish. Well, actually, the Wishbone Fairy always gave both of us our wishes.

Staying outside playing all over the neighborhood until after dark, and hearing mom yelling out the door that it's time to come home

Staying outside playing all over the neighborhood until after dark, and hearing mom yelling out the door that it's time to come home. Remember playing kick the can in the dark & all the games outside. Alot of fun in our younger days.

Fred Rodgers, will you be my neighbor?

Mr Rogers, part of my childhood! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor. Won't you be mine?

Captain Kangaroo...with Mr Green Jeans, Moose, Dancing Bear...

Boy, I'll say, I loved Captain Kangaroo every morning. I remember when I was young, one time my mother was wanting to dress me for the day and I said."Not in front of Captain Kangaroo".funny how I remember that so clearly.

When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a contestant on this show ... and subsequently, may or may not have played this game at Walmart with friends during college.

Super Market Sweep, another great game show that I wanted to be on!

Mercurochrome and Merthialate for our boo-boos.nothing like painting it orange. We called this monkey blood, which grossed me out as a kid that they would take a monkey's blood to help my cuts. I remember thinking "does this make me part monkey"?
