Dutch Pea Soup  1 (16-oz.) pkg split peas, soaked overnight.  1-2 c. ham, cut in chunks.  3 carrots, diced.  3 potatoes, peeled & cubed  6 c. water  1/2 tsp thyme (opt.)  salt and pepper to taste.  put all ingredients in crockpot. cover nad cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours.
