"Then slow fade up of a faint form. Out of the dark. A window. Looking west. Sun long sunk behind the larches. Light dying. Soon none left to die. No. No such thing as no light. Starless moonless heaven. Dies on to dawn and never dies. There in the dark that window. Night slowly falling. Eyes to the small pane gaze at that first night. Turn from it in the end to face the darkened room." ― Samuel Beckett, A Piece of Monologue // Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brussels, 1932

Another shot by Arthur Fellig, anyone who knows me knows I love photo booths. The traditional style far outshines the newer digital models. This photo represents something I and my friends have done hundreds of times (though admittedly not in dresses and heels, hah).
I love photo booths. Where else can you get people to willingly cram themselves like sardines?

two offenders in the paddy wagon - weegee ['weegee: mass hysteria' article from arforum - max kozloff, 1998]
This is by Weegee, came up during class. What I like about this: framing - angle and vignetting give the picture urgency - like Weegee (Arthur Fellig) had only a second to snap this so had little time to frame square. Taking about square, I like the combination of lines and squares and then you notice the roundness of the tyre and also the roundness of the hats, then the cross hatching of the wire cage.
