Explore Peter Falk, Peter O'toole, and more!

Poetic third-party vision of what it means to be human. Wim Wenders's best film certainly.

"Wings of Desire" (Der Himmel uber Berlin), directed by Wim Wenders, starring Bruno Ganz, Solveig Dommartin, Otto Sander & Peter Falk. (On Film)

One of the best films ever: Foreign Film: Pina (Germany - Director Wim Wenders)

Touchofevil.jpg...TOUCH OF EVIL...an American crime thriller directed by Orson Welles, starring Charlton Heston, Marlene Dietrich, and Janet Leigh...1958...

Touch of Evil: Orson Welles, Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Marlene Dietrich. Dark tale of Power. Orson Welles at his most sordid & evil.

I know - I am studying Film and I haven't seen Annie Hall? There is seriously something wrong with me.

"ANNIE HALL" Film / Woody Allen as Alvy Singer / Diane Keaton as Annie Hall / Directed by Woody Allen. Neurotic New York comedian Alvy Singer falls in love with the ditsy Annie Hall.

The Third Man is one of those rare films that doesn't ruin a great book. I love this movie. Graham Greene wrote the book. Carol Reed directed it. And Orson Welles and Joseph Cotton bring it to life.

The Third Man (1949)

Pulp novelist Holly Martins (Joseph Cotten) travels to shadowy, postwar Vienna, only to find himself investigating the mysterious death of an old friend, black-market opportunist Harry Lime (Orson Welles). A wonderful film.

Ran (1985) - The Criterion Collection

My first pin on this board is one of my favorite Criterion posters - AK's Ran. An abstract conceptualization of the movie's theme and its colors with the title in blood red. Worth owning the Criterion edition just for this image.
